Our fleet of two luxury narrowboats are the perfect way to explore the canals between Liverpool and Manchester (or further afield) from our location at Burscough – L40 5UU
Each of our boats is thoughtfully equipped with everything you’ll need for a comfortable and enjoyable trip, including furnishings, essential equipment, and utensils.
When you pick up your canal boat, everything will be ready for you— a well-maintained engine, a spotless interior and exterior, and freshly laundered bed linen.
All of our boats are self-drive, and we provide full instructions on how to operate them. Even if you’re new to boating, you’ll find it simple and easy to get started.
Cray - 2 to 4 Berth - Cruiser Style - 47ft Narrowboat
Cray boasts a generous kitchen and living area at the rear of the boat, where the living space easily transforms into a double bed. The boat also features two fixed berths, providing the choice of either two double beds or one double and two singles. For added comfort, Cray includes a bathroom with a flushing toilet, wash basin, and a shower over a 4ft bath. Additionally, Cray is equipped with central heating throughout and a charming solid fuel stove to keep you warm during your stay.
Eshton - 4 to 6 Berth - Cruiser Style - 57ft Narrowboat
Eshton features a central kitchen and living area, with the living space easily converting into a double bed. It also offers 4 fixed berths, providing the option of three double beds, two doubles and two singles, or one double and four singles. The boat is equipped with two shower rooms, each with a toilet and wash basin, located at either end of the boat. Additionally, Eshton is fully equipped with central heating for your comfort.

Self-Drive and Static Boat Hire
From March to mid-November, we offer self-drive, giving you the chance to experience life on the water. During the winter (mid-November to February), our narrowboats are available for static hire, staying moored at the wharf as unique self-catering accommodation while you explore the local area by car or public transport.
Great Value Canal Holidays
Hire one of our luxury canal boats for a short break, full week, 10 days, or two weeks to explore the Leeds Liverpool Canal at your own pace. We also offer static boat hires for 1- or 2-night stays. The prices listed on our website include the full hire of the narrowboat, with essentials like parking, bed linen, and gas included.

We added a bottle of very reasonable Merlot too. All while experiencing a lovely sail along the canal. Once again the very knowledgeable, interesting and capable Marc was our captain. Great experience - and always a great company to deal with. We will be back (yet again)!

We were not disappointed the Service was 5 stars. Guests were interacted with and we were allowed to join in with activities. The host was all you could ask for. Ourselves and others had requests for some changes on the menu and theses were adhered to very well. I shall be booking for the whole family. Thank you for such a lovely day me and my friend both needed it.
Carol EA thoroughly enjoyable and memorable experience. Mark (our skipper) was extremely knowledgeable of the area and canals, and also other canals. He was very interesting and hospitable to us. He invited our grandson to steer the boat and was very welcoming.
On a separate note, we were late arriving for the cruise and Mark did not rush us, and was very friendly.

The captain was excellent and very knowledgeable throughout the trip and as a bonus I was able to drive with the captain which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this trip.
